SILVER Thanks! Challenge

EARNS YOU THE SILVER THANKS! BADGE.
The הוֹדָאָה (hoda'ah; thanksgiving) blessing gives thanks to God in general, and for four specific things:

1. For our lives - being able to live and breathe!
2. For our souls - being able to think, feel and love!
3. For daily miracles - the surprising things of life that are good!
4. For the wonderful things that happen to us all day long!

YOUR TASK:  Your task is figure out what daily miracles are part of our lives.  

STEP ONE:  Start your challenge by talking to adults and friends about "daily miracles - the surprising things of life that are good!" What kinds of daily miracles do others see around them?


STEP TWO:  When you think you have an idea of the daily miracles this blessing might be talking about, think about how you are going to capture one idea.  You might:

• Draw a picture or take a photo
• Create a collage
• Write a song or poem
• Cut out an article in a magazine or newspaper, or print one from the internet.

You might have another way to capture a miracle that is ordinary, the kind that happens every day.  

STEP THREE: Take a photograph of your work and send it to ImGonnaStandUp@jecc.org.
