Learn about badges!!
WHAT KINDS OF BADGES CAN I EARN?
Each time you successfully complete one of the challenges, you will earn a badge! The more complex challenges earn you GOLD badges, but we have to admit that the SILVER challenges should engage you, too! Keep your eyes open for the RAINBOW challenges that we may post from time-to-time - those badges could be any color of the rainbow!
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO EARN A BADGE?
Each badge comes with instructions that you follow. Sometimes all the information you need is on the webpage. Othertimes, when there are several steps to complete, we give you some pages to download and print.
Follow the instructions and send your final projects to [email protected] - we'll tell you what to write in the Subject Line of your email (or your teacher or parent's email) so that it comes to the right place.
Then, fill out and submit the little survey on the bottom of each Challenge page.
HOW WILL YOU KNOW IF I REALLY DO EVERYTHING?
We had some children ask this question of us - they wanted to be sure there was "accountability!" They wanted to know that if the challenge says that something has to be done for 18 days or 10 times or whatever, that everyone really does the full amount. Bottom line, all Gonna Stand Up partners on this site are on their honor to do the challenges as stated, and being a website about prayer and God, we hope that they really do! Some of those working on this site will do so under the guidance of teachers or parents ... we assume they'll help with accountability.
DO I GET MY BADGE?
Once you submit the survey, you'll be taken to a page with your badge! Woo-hoo!
THEN WHAT?
We suggest that you print it out and save it in a journal, a notebook, a scrapbook, or on a large sheet of paper! The choice is yours. It would be great if YOU send a photo or two of the way you've saved your collection: [email protected] (Subject Line: MY BADGE COLLECTION) We'll post some of your collections to this page for other Stand-up-ers to see.
AND THEN....?
Go find another challenge to do! You may do challenges in ANY order that you want! Find what interests YOU.
ANYTHING SPECIAL IF I COMPLETE 7 BADGES?
Of course! If you complete 7 badges or more, we'd like to feature you in our "I STOOD UP" gallery, below! Ask someone to take a photo of you from your knees down to the floor - or whatever you might be standing on! Send it to [email protected]
[Put in the subject line: I STOOD UP!].
