ONE-OF-A-KIND (HOLY!) CHALLENGE

The two ONE-OF-A-KIND CHALLENGES on this webpage are based on the 3rd blessing of the Amidah.  
Called קְדוּשַׁת הַשֵׁם (K'dushat Hashem), this blessing praises God for being holy!  And what does "holy" REALLY mean?  
  • unique
  • special
  • one-of-a-kind!

God is certainly all these things:  unique, special, one-of-a-kind!  HOLY!  Because you are created in God's image, you are also holy ... unique, special and one of a kind!

The GOLD One-of-a-Kind Challenge

God is described as holy, and we, created in the image of God, are therefore also holy.  This GOLD challenge asks you  
  • to figure out what is kadosh (holy, special, unique, one-of-a-kind) about YOU
  • to make a unique, special and one-of-a-kind "word cloud" (Wordle) that shares with others how you are kadosh

The SILVER One-of-a-Kind Challenge

In the evening service, the blessing that talks of God's holiness is called K'dushat Hashem.  It's short, it's sweet, but it's a tongue twister!  The SILVER challenge asks that for at least seven days you:
  • practice saying the tongue twister part of this blessing.  
  • think about the meaning of, "those who are holy praise YOU every day!"
