The I'M GONNA STAND UP CHALLENGES are built around the blessings of the Amidah (this Hebrew word means "standing").  The Amidah is also known as HaT'fillah (meaning "THE Prayer") and Sh'moneh Esray (the Hebrew number "18" because this prayer originally had 18 different blessings at its core).

Ancestors Challenge

GOLD: Tasks include interviewing 18 people about God and creatively sharing what you learn
SILVER: Task is to learn to "sign" part of the blessing

Power Challenge

GOLD: Task is a volunteer project (3 days, 2 hours each time) that uses YOUR power
SILVER: Task is to find stories of children and teens who are powerful

One-of-a-Kind Challenge

GOLD: Task is to create a "word cloud" on the computer about how you are one-of-a-kind, just like God is one-of-a-kind (kadosh, holy!)
SILVER: Tasks include saying the blessing's "tongue twister" and creating an award for someone who is one-of-a-kind!

In-the-Middle Challenge: 
Shabbat

GOLD: Task is to make Shabbat "holy" by doing the right thing 
during the 25 hours of Shabbat.
SILVER:  [None]

In-the-Middle Challenge: 
Weekday

GOLD: Task includes 10 days of "moving" to these blessings (think Wii!)
SILVER: [None]

Talking to God Challenge

GOLD: Task is to try out different ways of talking to God (yes, even in your pjs on your bed!)
SILVER: Task is to write a prayer

Thanks Challenge

GOLD: Task is to take 13 days to find things for which you are thankful ... yes, even snow
SILVER: Task is a creative project

Peace Challenge

GOLD: Task is listening to the music of this blessing.
SILVER: Task is creating a collage
